chapter2150
It had to be admitted that in this world, money talked.
Seeing that Dante's seatmate, Sophie Peach, was from an average family, Daniel walked over and gently said to her, "Felix is new to our class. Could you let him have your seat?"
Sophie's eyes instantly welled up with tears. Not daring to refuse, she got up to leave.
At that moment, Dante couldn't sit still any longer. "Mr. Carter, there are so many empty seats in our class. Why must he take Sophie's seat?"
Daniel's face stiffened. Naturally, he couldn't tell Dante how the adult world worked. "Dante, Sophie didn't even have any ions. Why are you making noise?"
Dante then looked at Sophie. "Sophie, didn't you say you wanted to sit with me forever?"
When Sophie heard his question, her eyes reddened, and she rubbed them.
"But..." she sobbed.
Dante shielded her. "Mr. Carter, you see? She doesn't want to move."
Elliot also couldn't stand it anymore. He got up from his seat and took Sophie's hand.
"Sophie, tell Mr. Carter that you don't want to change seats. He's the most reasonable person in the world. If you say you don't want to change seats, he definitely won't make you do it," Elliot said.
Then, he looked up at Daniel. "Mr. Carter, I'm right, aren't I?"
Daniel smiled in resignation. He's so young, but he's already so good at flattering others.
"Yes, yes, you're right." Of course, he didn't dare deny it.
Sophie, after all, was just a child. Since Daniel had said so, she no longer suppressed herself and voiced out. "Mr. Carter, I don't want to change seats. I want to sit with Dante."
Daniel had no choice but to turn to look at Felix, whose face was sullen.
"Felix, please choose an empty seat," Daniel said.
Felix shot a cold, warning look at Dante, then picked a seat close to Jonathan,
Elliot, and Dante, and strutted over to sit down.
Dante found his demeanor incredibly annoying.
Elliot also disliked Felix, so he refused to look at him.
re
Felix, however, didn't seem to care, that people disliked him. In fact, he even spoke to Jonathan. "Jon, we're in the same school again, polagain and we're even in the same class.
Jonathan responded with a hum without looking back.
Bored by his reaction, Felix said nothing more.
After class, he eagerly walked up to the front and announced, "Hello, everyone. My name is Felix
Rainsworth. I'm glad to be
classmates with you guys. Also, I brought gifts."
With that, he raised his arm and made a phone call with his smartwatch.
Before long, a bodyguard arrived, carrying a pile of expensive gifts. He then placed them one by one on each student's desk.
"Open it up, everyone. Don't be shy," Felix urged.
Some of the children opened the gift boxes. Inside were the latest and most expensive game consoles on the market.
The price of one was at least tens of thousands!
Although none of the children lacked
money, Felix was the only one who had given expensive gifts, game consoles no less to the entire class at once.
To them, Felix was exceedingly generous and bold.
Felix specifically took three gift bags from the bodyguard and walked over to Jonathan's group.
"Jon, these are for the three of you. You're welcome," Felix said smugly. He assumed Jonathan and the others wouldn't be able to buy these game consoles because he had specially asked his uncle to buy them from abroad.
